Weekly Photo Challenge: 2017 Favourites

I am obsessed with sunrises and sunsets

Unfortunately, I can only see the sunrise from my balcony

Like this one taken a couple of weeks ago

I do feel conspicuous being out on my balcony at daybreak with camera in hand

Particularly if I drag the tripod out with me

But if I can get shots like this

I think it’s well worth it

Weekly Photo Challenge: Experimental

After a summer like October

Winter reared it’s ugly head last week

Woke up to frosty windows – and sunshine

The combination was amazing and trying to photograph the results was irresistible

So I decided to get Experimental and snap a photo with my iPhone

Definitely be more shots like this in the months ahead – have to get something good out of winter!
