I grew up next to a lake
Mercurial – ever changing
It was my canvas when I first picked up a camera
But I don’t recall the sunset ever burnishing its waters like this
Liquid
Molten
Gold
The Water Series: Yin and Yang
Light and Dark – Yin and Yang
These were my thoughts as I watched the storm clouds slowly advance
But was I the Yin or the Yang in this scenario – was I the light or the darkness
Was I finding harmony – enhancing it – or creating an imbalance
Did my insignificant self/presence even matter – nature is all powerful
This is the downside to introspection – it becomes circular

Water & Light casts a spell that fascinates and mesmerizes me.
Frame after frame, I could sit and shoot the play of light on water for hours.
